CGC Work Day - March 24, 2007 On a Saturday in March over 35 volunteers went to camp to help prepare for summer camp and to make it more safe from fires. We painted the inside of Klaar House, trimmed along some trails, and cleared brush around the buildings in the main part of camp. We worked hard, but it was fun! If you're interested in planning a work day or weekend for a group in your church, you are welcome to contact site director Melissa Sorrick for more information. See pictures from the workday here.
CGC is the Region's year-round camp and conference facility, designed to serve all ages and group sizes. CGC is available for rental to congregational and other church or non-profit groups. "The Community" provides attractive accommodations, marvelous surroundings, excellent food, clean air, fresh water, open skies, and views of the snow-capped Sierras. Amenities include: A dining hall capable of serving 100 persons, a first-rate swimming pool, nature trails, a variety of accommodation options, a tent area, and proximity to historic "gold country" sites.
